Operates each Wednesday at Citadel from 9:30am till 2:30pm
Access group: People with medium to high physical and intellectual disabilities.
To provide family caregivers with a 'time out' knowing that those in their care are well looked after and spending meaningful time under supervision.
Goals are set to match each client¡¯s ability (i.e. level of disability).
The programme incorporates games, competitions, craft activities and entertainment.
A short devotional reading and prayer is part of the programme every week.
Clients are taken on outings a few times each year.
Cost per client per day is $3.00 per day.
Morning tea provided.
Clients provide their own lunch.
